NAJWA KARAM
Najwa Karam is a singer born on the 26th February 1966. She earned a degree in philosophy, and went on to work as a teacher for two years. In 1985, she began her music career.
She joined a musical institute and she trained with Zaki Nassif for a total of six years, then with another teacher for another two. Her first album Ya Habayeb was released in 1989.
HAIFA WEHBE
Haifa Wehbe was born March 10th, 1970 in Mahrouna. She was originally a model, a received many accomplishments. A notable one is that In 2006, she was on People Magazine's 50 most beautiful people list. In 2002, Wehbe released her first album, Huwa az-Zaman. On June 10, 2006 Haifa became the first Arab artist to perform with 50 Cent as an opening act for his first concert in Lebanon.
ALISHA CHINAI
Alisha Chinai is also known as Indian Madonna and "the Queen of Indipop." She was born on March 18, 1965 in Gujarat. She debuted in the movie "Adventures of Tarzan," where she sang 5 tracks in 1984. Her most popular song is "Made in India" released in 1995. She also expressed open support for the MeToo movement and expressed concern about her own experiences in the industry.




Oh, I really love all three of these videos. The first one is definitely my favorite, though--I just love the way all of the guys are dancing in the street in such a non-self-conscious way. I wish we had more of that in our little part of the world.
These sound like very interesting women. The flash mob in the first video is so fun! She just steps out into the street at the red light and starts singing!
